Tigers Route Earlham 3-0 For Third Straight Win

Richmond, IN – Outscoring host Earlham,3-0, the Wittenberg Tiger Men's Soccer team picked up their third win in a row. Jack Pascoal tallied his second goal of the season, putting the Tigers on the board in the 22nd minute. Finding the back of the net for the third game in the row, sophomore Kees Ciric, added to the Wittenberg advantage, coming off the Alex Zysik assist in the 55th minute. With seconds left in regulation, Kyler Hagstrom tallied the final Wittenberg goal, capitalizing off the assist from Nick Harding.

With this win, Wittenberg improves to 3-2-1 through non-conference action.

  • Goalkeeper Sam Nitzberg moved to 3-1-1 on the season with one save against one shot on goal from the Earlham attack.
  • Ciric led the Tiger offense with four shots, placing three on frame.
  • Pascoal added three shots with two on target.
  • As a team, Wittenberg tallied 19 shots with 10 on frame in the match.

Wittenberg will return to action on Saturday, September 24 at 3:30 pm. Opening up North Coast Athletic Conference action, Wittenberg will host the fellow Tigers from DePauw.
