Tigers Fall to Crusaders

Columbus, OH -- The Tigers traveled to Capital University Saturday afternoon to take on the Crusaders. It was a physical match between these two teams, the Crusaders capturing two yellow cards and the Tigers drawing seven fouls. It was an offensive game as the Tigers totalled eight shots, and Capital with 19. Goalkeeper Jason Bowen had a big afternoon, with nine saves, allowing one goal in the 58th minute.

Senior Eli Esterline and sophomore Logan Evans combined for half of the shots taken on goal. The Tigers had four corner kicks but were unable to capitalize on them.

Wittenberg will be heading to Earlham College Tuesday, September 21 for a 4:00 p.m. kickoff.
