Mark Vaughn

Mark Vaughn joined the Wittenberg baseball coaching staff in 2023 and is primarily working with the team's outfielders and player development, in addition to supporting the program through analytics and video analysis.

Vaughn was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and graduated from Centerville High School in 2018. He worked for the Centerville High School baseball team as a program player helping with scouting and analytics while also earning a varsity letter his senior year.

Upon graduation, Vaughn attended the University of Cincinnati and earned his Bachelor of Science in Marketing and a Master's in Sports Administration. During his time at UC, Vaughn worked with the baseball team for five years as a student manager and assisted in all aspects of the program, ranging from analytics, video, development, and equipment. In his first year when assisting with scouting, UC went 31-31, won the American Athletic Conference Tournament and travelled to the Corvallis Regional where the Bearcats upset 16th-seeded defending National Champion Oregon State, 7-6, in the opening round. The team's 29-26 record in 2021 marked the program's first winning season in a decade. 

Vaughn currently lives in Centerville, Ohio.
