Six Tigers Earn CSC Men's At-Large Academic All-District Recognition

SPRINGFIELD, OH - Wittenberg had six male athletes named to the College Sports Communicators NCAA Division III Men’s At-Large Academic All-District team for the 2024-25 season, the CSC announced on Tuesday.
Jake Yarbrough (Dublin, OH / Dublin Jerome) was the lone senior named to the team along with juniors Eli Halverson (Hamilton, OH / Badin), Jake Downs (Cincinnati, OH / Milford), Dillon McKeigue (Olmstead Township, OH /St. Edward), and Ethan Pac (Greenwood, IN / Cathedral) followed by sophomore Caleb Domitrovich (McDonald, OH / McDonald). Halverson and Downs are part of the Tiger men’s volleyball team, while McKeigue and Pac represent men’s lacrosse, and Yarbrough and Domitrovich are on the men’s golf team.
The CSC All-District Team recognized student-athletes that succeed both in the classroom and in their sport. To qualify for the All-District team, the student-athletes must hold at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA while playing in at least 80 percent of their team’s games or starting in 66 percent of games over the course of the season.
Academic All-District honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. Halverson, Downs, and McKeigue are all candidates for Academic All-America.
Halverson, McKeigue, Yarbrough, and Domitrovich each boast a GPA over 3.7, while Pac is above 3.6, and Downs currently sits at 3.58.
