Bio

Eric Nelson joined Wittenberg's Strength and Conditioning staff in 2025. At Wittenberg, he is working with Baseball, Softball, Field Hockey, Golf, Cross Country, and assisting with football.

A 2022 graduate of Edgewood College, Nelson played baseball for four years. He made 35 pitching appearances, tossing 79 innings and finishing with a career record of 7-9. Nelson graduated from Edgewood in 2022 with a bachelor's degree in biology.

Nelson interned at the University of Wisconsin-Madison with the football team in their strength and conditioning department during the summer of 2024. He then went to Wagner College to serve as a sports performance graduate assistant for the 2024-25 school year. In that role, Nelson worked with baseball, field hockey, women's water polo, fencing, and football.
