Bio

Ryan Forbush joined Wittenberg University’s staff in August 2025 as the Director of Athletic Facilities and Events after completing a summer internship with Wittenberg's Department of Athletics. In his role, Ryan oversees the scheduling, management, and daily operations of Wittenberg’s athletic facilities, as well as coordinating and supervising game-day operations for all home athletic contests.

Before arriving at Wittenberg, Ryan spent five years in education as an intervention specialist at both the elementary and middle school levels. He spent one year with Edgewood City Schools in Trenton, Ohio, before serving four years with Fairfield City Schools in Fairfield, Ohio. Alongside his teaching responsibilities, Ryan worked as the assistant athletic director at Creekside Middle School and also served as a site manager for athletic events at Fairfield High School. In addition, he coached baseball for four seasons at Fairfield High School, holding positions at the freshman, junior varsity, and varsity levels while also assisting with the program’s social media and event operations.

A native of Dublin, Ohio, Ryan earned his bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Cincinnati and is on track to complete his master’s degree in Sport Administration from Arkansas State University in May 2026.

Ryan currently resides in Franklin, Ohio, with his wife, Sydney, and their dog, Brutus.
