Katherine Biszantz participated in bowling, golf, basketball and badminton while at Wittenberg. In 1974 she was runnerup in the Ohio intercollegiate golf championship and was the winner in her flight of the National North-South Amateur Championship. She was an LPGA touring professional from 1979-81. A native of Cleveland, Biszantz is a graduate of Lake Ridge Academy. She is now an LPGA teaching professional at La Mirada Country Club in La Mirada, Cal.
