Jim Feltz received the football team's Golden Helmet Award in 1967 and 1968. A four-year letterwinner, he was first team all-OAC three times as a defensive lineman. In 1968 he was first team All-America on the coaches' team and second team by Associated Press. A graduate of Glassport (Pa.) High School, Feltz is owner of James R. Feltz Construction Co. in Pittsburgh.
