Angola, IN - In their last non-conference game of the season, the Tigers traveled to the Hoosier State to take on Trine in a matchup of one loss teams before heading into conference play for the remainder of the season. Each team had double digit chances, but after 90 minutes of play, neither team was able to find the back of the net. After the draw, the Tigers moved to 4-1-4, while the Thunder are now 4-1-3 on the season.
In the first half, both teams put two shots on goal, which were both saved by the opposing keeper. Despite each team closing out the game with double digit shots and 11 corner kicks between the teams, neither were able to get the ball across the goal line the defenses stood tall for the game to end in a 0-0 tie.
Team Leaders
- Rachel Spencer (Columbus, OH / Bishop Watterson) led the Tigers in shots with five and Sarah Deaton (Monroe, OH / Monroe) added another three, two of which coming on goal.
- Throughout the game, Lily Winkle (Cynthiana, KY / Harrison County) saved all five shots on goal against her.

- The Thunder lead in shots, 12-10, but the Tigers held the advantage in corner kicks, seven to four
- Wittenberg also had more saves, with five to Trine's three and the Tigers had less fouls, finsihing eight to nine.
Next Up
The Tigers will get back into conference play as they will travel to Oberlin on Saturday, October 4th at 1:00 PM to take on the Yeowomen in hopes to imrove on their 1-0 conference record.
