Tigers Earn Second Straight MCVL Victory with 3-0 Win Over Adrian
Wittenberg won it second MCVL match in as many tries Saturday morning in Springfield.

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio—The Wittenberg Tigers men's volleyball team won its second consecutive MCVL match Saturday morning defeating Adrian College; just hours after the Tigers downed Olivet College the night before. The Tigers ended the match up 3-0; 25-17, 25-16, and 25-11. Wittenberg as led by Justin Luby (Akron, Ohio/Walsh Jesuit) who led all players with 14 kills on the day. The victory puts Wittenberg at an 8-4 record on the season, and a 2-4 record in MCVL play.
MATCH NOTES
- Wittenberg produced a kill-percentage of .387 on the day, aided by Ashton Sellers' (Westerville, Ohio/Westerville Central) 8-11 day, for a .727 kill-percentage.
- Luby led all players attesting for 15 total points, while Sellers' was close behind as he found himself apart of 10.5 points.
- Nathan Matthews (Gahanna, Ohio/Lincoln) and Luby combined for 10 digs on the morning, while as a team the Tiger's dug 28 balls in the match.
- Senior Matt Briskey (Dublin, Ohio/Hilliard Davidson) continued his recent hot-streak, connecting on eight kills out of 12 attempts for a .583 percentage in the victory.
