Springfield, Ohio - The Wittenberg Tigers put the finishing touches on the first half of the 2023-24 season with a competition in Wittenberg's Natatorium against visiting Manchester. The Tiger women won 112-95, while the women lost 130-69.
Wittenberg's women head into a break for final exams with a 4-3 dual meet record. The team beat Manchester thanks to the following first-place finishes:
- 200-yard medley relay: Mackenzie Schuld (Rocky River, Ohio/Rocky River), Sophie Paskiet (Toledo, Ohio/St. Ursula), McKenna Clark (Waynesville, Ohio/Carroll), Jenna Hallett (Delta, Ohio/Delta)
- 200-yard freestyle: Shania Stone (Cincinnati, Ohio/Princeton)
- 200-yard Individual Medley: Hallett
- 1-meter diving: Rebekah Lebold (Mount Vernon, Ohio/Mount Vernon)
- 100-yard butterfly: Schuld
- 100-yard freestyle: Stone
- 500-yard freestyle: Clark
- 100-yard breaststroke: Schuld
- 200-yard freestyle relay: Clark, Lebold, Hallett, Stone
Wittenberg's men earned several top finishes as well, including:
- 1000-yard freestyle: Jon Wasky (Kettering, Ohio/Fairmont)
- 200-yard Individual Medley: Mason Steen (Leroy, Ohio/Riverside)
