Tigers Fall on the Road At Ohio Wesleyan

Delaware, OH – The Wittenberg Tiger Men's Basketball team fell on the road to North Coast Athletic Conference foe, Ohio Wesleyan University, 52-42. The Tigers trailed 23-20 at the break, shooting just 28 percent from the floor. Leading the scoring charge through the first 20-minutes, Jeff Queen tallied eight points with four rebounds. Wittenberg would scrap back in the second half, cutting into the Ohio Wesleyan lead, shooting 35 percent from the floor.

Jerry Saunders Jr. tallied a team-high 10 points on the day, adding four rebounds with one assist. Levi Boettcher pulled down a team-high nine rebounds, dishing out one assist with five points.

 Wittenberg will return to action on Friday, December 16, hosting Hope College. Tipoff is set for 6:00 pm from Pam Evans Smith Arena.
