Springfield, OH—The Wittenberg Field Hockey team battled hard with the Allegheny Alligators on Sunday at Edwards-Maurer Field. The team walked away with the 1-0 win after a late second half goal from Maddy Krasnow. Ebony Wyse assisted with the goal. The team had 12 shots to Allegheny's 3 and goalie Caitlin Archdeacon played all four quarters with zero shots faced on goal. The Tigers held Allegheny to 2 penalty corners while Wittenberg earned 5.
The Tigers will return to action on Wednesday, September 27th against Ohio Wesleyan at 7:00 PM on Edwards-Maurer Field.
