Granville, OH- The Tigers headed to Granville to take on the Big Red of Denison University in their seventh conference match-up of the season. The Tigers who were split 3-3 in NCAC play had a tough battle ahead of them against the 6-1 Big Red. Despite the tough opponent Wittenberg was able to get on the board first with a goal from Lucy Ripepi from Meredith Johnson off of a penalty corner. Denison was able to come back with a 3-1 score leaving Wittenberg with a 3-4 record in conference play.
In goal for Wittenberg was senior, Hurguy with ten saves on the day, adding to her total of 41 on the year with a save percentage of .759.
NCAC Leaders: Katie Webber cracks the top ten for goals in the NCAC at number seven with six on the season. Regan Mazzulli sits at number ten in the NCAC for assists with four on the year. Lastly for Wittenberg, Caitlin Archdeacon sits at number two for save percentage in the conference with .862 and number four for saves with 50 on the season.
