The Tigers of the Wittenberg field hockey program are looking forward to this season, welcoming 10 new recruits to the team. Head Coach Bronwen Gainsford will get her shot at her first full season this fall due to COVID-19 regulations pushing their season to a shortened schedule in the spring of 2021, each match listed as no contest. Leading the Tigers will be senior Allison Ormsby, collecting six goals and two assists in 2019. With no sophomore class, bringing in 10 fresh faces challenges the Tigers to get them accustomed to the quick play of collegiate field hockey.
The ladies kick of their season at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky against the Sewanee Tigers Saturday, September 4 at 1:30 PM.
