Granville, Ohio – The Wittenberg field hockey team took on Denison University Saturday, falling to the Big Red by a final score of 7-2. Wittenberg would hold Denison within one at the half, going into the break trailing 2-1. Megan Niswonger recorded the first goal for Wittenberg, breaking down the Denison defense on the double move to find the back of the cage.
GAME BREAKDOWN
- Blaine Donnelly got the offense rolling again in the second half, beating the Denison keeper for her 11th goal of the season.
