    The No. 11-ranked Wittenberg University volleyball team has been selected to compete in the NCAA Division III Tournament for the 14th consecutive year and the 15th time in school history. The Tigers open their quest for the first national title in program history with a first round match at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, at Hope College against 14th-ranked Calvin College.

The Tigers finish the first NCAC weekend with a perfect 4-0 mark in league action and an 8-3 record overall, taking all 12 sets they played.

The Tigers improve to 6-3 overall with the wins, and are owners of a perfect 2-0 record in NCAC action.

    The Wittenberg University volleyball team, ranked 12th in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) NCAA Division III poll, hosts its fifth annual Border Battle Friday and Saturday, Sept. 18-19. For the second straight year, the event will have a global awareness theme, with a fundraising effort to benefit children of the impoverished African kingdom of Lesotho.
