SPRINGFIELD — Wittenberg junior Meghan Frazier (Alliance, Ohio/Alliance) was named the North Coast Athletic Conference Women's Outdoor Track and Field Sprints/Hurdles Athlete of the Week for the week of April 8-14.

This marks Frazier's third NCAC Athlete of the Week accolade of the 2023-24 season and sixth of her career. She earned the honor three times as a sophomore and twice during the indoor season this year on Dec. 5 and 12.

The latest recognition comes after she finished second in the 200 meters in 25.36 seconds and third in the 100 meters in 12.25 seconds at the Dennis Craddock Coaches Classic at Lynchburg on April 12-13. Both times rank first in the conference in their respective events.

She was also a member of Wittenberg's 4x100 relay team that finished third in 49.19 seconds.

An NCAA Indoor Championships qualifier in the 400 meters earlier this year, Frazier is Wittenberg's female NCAC Scholar-Athlete Award winner for 2024.

The Tigers return to action with some athletes competing at the Jesse Owens Classic at Ohio State on Friday and Saturday and others competing at the Duane Gomez Invitational at Kenyon on Saturday.
