Indoor: Season best in the Distance Medley (14:22.88) at the North Coast Indoor Track and Field Championship. Season bestin the 800m (2:54.12) at the Tiffin Alumni Open.
Outdoor: Season best in the 1500m (5:21. 68) at the NCAC Championships.
High School
Iwanyckyj graduated in 2011 from Southampton High School where she played soccer, track, and softball. In track, she was awarded the Most Improved Player and Sportsmanship award. her team made it divisions, small school champisonships, and state qualifiers, and was all-leauge (2009-10, 2010-11).
Iwanyckyi was on the Honor roll, involved in American Sign Language Honors Society, Athletes Helping Athletes, and volunteered at a local church and school.
Personal
Deanna is the daughter of Mary and Peter Iwanyckyj. At Wittenberg, she runs both cross country and track. She is involved in Promise Neighborhood and intermural soccer, volleyball, and dodgeball.
Iwanyckyj plans to become a physical therapist.
