Tigers Take Third Place From Wooster Invitational

Wooster, OH – The Wittenberg women's golf team competed from the Eva Shorb Weiskopf Memorial Invitational from the Wooster Country Club. Wittenberg took third-place as a team, with a two-day score of 701, posting rounds of 350 and 351. Wittenberg was led by Izzy Selby, taking fifth-place for her second top five finish in a row. Selby carded an opening round of 79, coming back on day-two with a 90, posting a 169 through 36-holes.

Halley McNair posted her first top 10 finish of the season. McNair posted rounds of 90-85 for a two-day score of 175, for a T7 finish.

Coming in for back-to-back finishes, Hilary Humbaugh posted an 11th place finish, with Ellen Frame earning a T12 spot. Humbaugh posted a two-day score of 177, carding rounds of 93-84. Frame tallied scores of 88 and 92 for a 36-hole score of 180.

Wittenberg will return to action on October 16-17, to host their annual Wittenberg Classic from the Springfield Country Club.
