Frame Sets Tigers' Pace At Heidelberg Fall Invite

Springfield, OH – The Wittenberg women's golf team returned to action in Fostoria, OH at the Heidelberg Fall Invitational at the Fostoria Country Club. The Tigers posted an opening round score of 339, sitting in seventh-place amongst the field of 12 teams after the first round. The Tigers a 343 as a team on day two of competition, finishing with a final tally of 682 (+106) as a team through 36 holes.

Wittenberg was led by sophomore Ellen Frame in round one, carding a consistent score of 39 and 40 with a final of 79 to begin the weekend. Frame earned an 11th place finish amongst the field of 71 competitors, rounding out day-two with an 83 for a two-day total of 162 (+18). Classmate, Morgan Pagel went low through the opening nine, matching Frame's 39, posting a 46 on the back-nine for back-to-back scores of 85 through 36-holes. Newcomer, Halley McNair carded an 87 in just her second collegiate round, following up with a low round of 84 on day two, earning a T28 finish at (+27). Elizabeth Uhl carded scores of 88 and 91, cracking the top 50 at T41 with a (+35) in the clubhouse.
