  • Wittenberg out-hit Capital by a 10-5 margin and committed one error to the Comets' six.

Quote - Head coach Ashley Goodwin

  • "We wrapped up our non-conference schedule today with two big wins. Our team played together and had great home fan support. We continued playing the game fast, were able to get runners in scoring position and capitalize with multiple big hits. Ashlynn Stamper continues to provide home run power in the middle of our lineup, and Julia Burch and Meghan McCans are consistently getting on base and providing the rest of our lineup with run-producing opportunities. It is always great to see Team 41 come together. We will take a few days off from softball-related activities and then prepare for our tough NCAC schedule."
