GAMBIER, Ohio—Wittenberg track and field traveled to Kenyon College for the Kenyon Classic on Saturday, as both Tigers programs looked to improve on an already successful indoor season. Competing against nine teams on each side, the Tigers men finished in second place, scoring 83 points, while the women finished in sixth place, scoring 47.50 points. The men finished in second behind Penn State University-Behrend, while the women finished behind Westminster, Wooster, Kenyon Waynesburg and PSU-Behrend.

WOMEN'S TOP 6'S

• In the 200-meter dash, Alaina Longshore scored second place points for Wittenberg, with a finals heat of 27.19.  
• Also recording a second place finish was Olivia Stevens, who ran a finals time of 9.42 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles.
• Senior Courtney Huck took home third place honors in the 400-meters at 1:02.06.
• In the 5000 meter run, Wittenberg was led by Erin Hord, who finished in fourth place at 20:14.24.
• Samantha Mitchell came in fourth for the Tigers in the 200-meter dash at 27.68, as well as fifth in the 60-meter dash at 8.40.
• Rounding out the day was Katelyn McCohn, who came in fifth in the 400-meters at 1:02.80.

MEN'S TOP 6'S

• Cody Shutt got the scoring started for the Tigers, claiming first place in the 400-meter dash at 50.93 seconds.
• Marcus O'Neal also scored first place points for Wittenberg, this time in the 60-meter hurdles at 8.58 seconds.
• The 4x400 meter relay team of Kenneth Mayes, Charles Samuel, Jalen Fultz and Matt Entsminger came in first place as well, with a finals times of 3:30.63.
• Tyler Branton paced the Tigers in the 60 meter-dash, coming in second place at 7.13 seconds.
• Kyle Farnbauch came in second place for the Tigers in the 60-meter hurdles, with a finals time of 8.65 seconds.
• In the high jump, Wittenberg was led by David Campbell, who cleared 1.90 meters, good enough for second place.
• Ryan Hale also scored for Wittenberg, earning a third place finish in the 400-meter dash at 51.89 seconds.
• Tay Morton also scored in the high jump for the Tigers, coming in fourth place after clearing 1.80 meters.
• Jardyan Mitchem also earned a fourth place finish, this time in the pole vault after clearing 4.25 meters for Wittenberg.
• Entsminger came in sixth place for Wittenberg in the 60-meter dash, running a finals heat of 7.22 seconds.
• Branton completed his day with a sixth place finish in the long jump at 6.10 meters.
• Rounding out Wittenberg's day as a team was Brad Arledge who came in sixth place in the mile run at 4:56.44.
