CANTON, NY - Junior Justin Fisher (Fort Wayne, Ind./Carroll) was the third and final Wittenberg Tiger to compete in the 2015 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships, and he turned in a solid performance with a 13th-place finish in the triple jump.

Wittenberg student-athletes competed in a total of six events at NCAA Division III championship meets during the 2015 season, one of the best national showings for the Tigers in program history. Fisher followed junior Brea Medlock (Galena, Ohio/Big Walnut), who placed 19th in the women's 200-meter dash on Thursday, and senior Justin Yates (Dayton, Ohio/Bellbrook), who placed 13th in the men's 400-meter dash on Friday, in addition to the trio of Medlock, senior Victor Banjo (Sugarland, Texas/Stephen F. Austin) and junior Aaron Melsop (Westerville, Ohio/DeSales) in the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships in March.

Fisher came into the NCAA meet with the 13th-best mark during the regular season, and he matched that with his performance at St. Lawrence University. He cleared a distance of 46-feet, 10-inches (14.27 meters) to miss the top-eight and All-America honors by one foot. Chris Perry of Bridgewater State won the event with a mark of 50-11.
