COLUMBUS, Ohio – A handful of Tigers headed to Ohio State for the first of what was supposed to be two meets for Wittenberg this weekend, and came away with several notable performances before snow cut the weekend short.

The Tigers were scheduled to send a much larger group nack to Columbus for Capital University's last chance meet, the Rick Meindl Classic, on Saturday. However, a large snowstorm forced the cancellation of those plans.

At Ohio State on Friday, junior Brea Medlock (Galena, Ohio/Big Walnut) ran a 26.25 200-meter dash to finish ninth among a field of runners from 24 meet competitors on the women's side and 19 on the men's, including schools like Ohio State, Wright State, Ohio, Miami (Ohio), and more from all three divisions of the NCAA.

Medlock anchored the women's 4x400-meter relay that finished seventh on a season-best time of 4:02.34, running the final stretch after legs from sophomore Alaina Longshore (Columbus, Ohio/Franklin Heights), sophomore Frankie Bowsher (Gahanna, Ohio/Lincoln) and junior Jordan Crow (North Las Vegas, Nev./Palo Verde).

For the men, senior Victor Banjo (Sugarland, Texas/Stephen F. Austin) finished fourth in the 60-meter dash at 6.96, just off his season-best 6.94. The only other Tiger male competitor at the meet was junior Aaron Melsop (Westerville, Ohio/DeSales), who leapt to eighth place in the long jump with a mark of 6.84.
