| NCAC Players of the Week – April 16 |

SPRINGFIELD — Wittenberg senior J.F. Aber (Pittsburgh, Pa./Sewickley Academy) was named the North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week for the week of April 8-14.

This marks Aber's third NCAC Golfer of the Week accolade of the 2023-24 season and sixth of his career. He earned the honor once as a sophomore and twice as a junior.

The latest recognition comes after he won medalist honors at The Hershey Cup at Hershey Country Club in Hershey, Pa., by two strokes in the 87-man field to lead the Tigers to the team championship by three strokes in the 16-team field on April 8. Aber finished with a 2-over-par 73-71—144 and won the tournament after entering the second round two shots off the lead in a four-way tie for third place.

His second-round 71 tied for the best round of the tournament. That round included an eagle on Hole 6, and he had just two bogeys on the day.

The Tigers are in action today playing the second and final round of the Win Palmer Cup at Allegheny Country Club in Sewickley, Pa.
