Leahy's Monster Week Earns NCAC Award

NCAC — Men's Basketball (Feb. 10, 2014)

Wittenberg senior guard Zack Leahy (Rossford, Ohio/Rossford) led the Tigers to two road wins last week against No. 13 Ohio Wesleyan, 66-55, and Oberlin, 70-63. In the win over OWU, Leahy scored a career-high 27 points after shooting 79 percent (11-of-14) from the field and 83 percent (5-of-6) from three-point range. He then added 16 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals in the seven-point win over Oberlin. On the week, Leahy scored 43 points (21.5 ppg), pulled down nine rebounds (4.5 rpg) and dished out five assists (2.5 apg), while also shooting 63 percent (15-of-24) from the field and 58 percent (7-of-12) from beyond the arc.
