Lansing, MI- Corin Turkovich secured her bid to the NCAA DIII Championship meet after capturing a 15^th place finish and school record time of 21:52.1 at the NCAA DIII Great Lakes Regional Meet. Turkovich becomes the third Tiger in the women's program to compete at the championship meet, behind Mary Pfeifer who made three consecutive appearances (2009-11) and Abi Gerstle who also made three appearances (2000-2002).

Turkovich competed in frigid Michigan conditions but put up a time of 23:54.7, crossing the line with a place of 163 out of a field of 292 runners. The program's best record in the 6K championship meet is posted by Abi Gerstle with a place of 54^th and time of 22:49.00.
