Tigers Take Second At All-Ohio

Cedarville, OH -- The Wittenberg Men and Women's Cross Country Teams competed in the All-Ohio Championships hosted by Cedarville University on Friday evening. The Tigers competed against runners across all Divisions of the NCAA. The men took seventh-place out of 14 teams competing, and the women captured a second-place finish out of 15 teams.  

On the Women's side, Wittenberg Sophomore, Corin Turkovich, finished the Women's 5K in third-place with a time of 18:25.1. Not far behind, Megan Keys finished with a time of 19:17.8 for 13th place overall. The next two Tigers to cross the finish line back-to-back were Sydney Kholsa and Ella Webster for 19th and 20th place, with times of 19:31.2 (Kholsa) and 19:34.9 (Webster). Cracking the top 30 was Kiki Krohmer with a time of 19:56.0 for 29th place, securing the fifth scoring place for the Tiger team.  

In the Men's 8K run, the NCAC Athlete of the Week, Conor Kolka, placed seventh overall in  a time of 25:16.9. Freshman, Lucas Eisele, finished with a time of 27:04.8 placing him in 40thAdam Arndt finished with 27:30.6 and Peter Caine with 27:51.9 for 48th (Arndt) and 64th place (Caine). Freshman, Zayden Taylor, finished in 76th place with a time of 28:05.9.
