Women Place 25th At All-Ohio Championships

Cedarville, OH- The women's team was able to score 725 points (88-122-153-174-188, 195, and 196) against 35 teams from across Ohio. Senior, Alexis Gray was Wittenberg's top runner placing 98th with a time of 24:37.0. Sophomore, Elizabeth Canright came in behind Gray at 25:24.7 and placed 136th. Sophomore, Lauren Welker had a time of 26:34.8 followed by junior, Erika Bournival, at 27:25.9, and freshman, Caroline Arndt, at 28:09.8. Sophomore, Annalee Lynn (28:47.4) and sophomore Sydney Shannon (29:40.9) were able to help the Tigers place 25th out of 35 teams in the Women's 6K.

The young Wittenberg men's team was able to score 876 points (111-147-190-200-228) against 38 teams competing. Sophomore, Ryan Zimmerman led the Tigers with a time of 28:02.9. Sophomore, Cullen Sainey came in close behind at 28:46.1 followed by freshman, Evan Cordle,  at 30:02.7. Wittenberg's number four runner was sophomore, Andrew Reese with a time of 30:34.5. Freshman, Caden Zellner came across the line at 32:21.1 giving the Tigers 228 points.
