Pardon Steps Down To Explore New Role Out West

Springfield, OH – Sivan Pardon, Wittenberg's first head Women's Water Polo coach has stepped down after four seasons at the helm to take on a new coaching role out west. Pardon came to Wittenberg in the fall of 2017, elevating the water polo program to become the 25th varsity sport Wittenberg had to offer. During this time, Wittenberg set the standard becoming the first varsity level college program at the DIII level in Ohio.

During her time, Pardon served as co-advisor of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee. Most recently, Pardon was appointed co-chair of the Wittenberg Athletic Diversity, Equity and Inclusion program in Fall 2021.

Pardon led the Tigers to top 3 conference finishes and a CWPA Conference championship appearance. The program  received national recognition producing multiple academic and athletic All-Americans, CWPA individual and team recognitions, and was national ranked as high as 6th under Coach Pardon's leadership. 

A national search for the next Wittenberg Women's Water Polo coach will begin immediately.
