Water Polo Welcomes Assistant Coach Patrick Hudak

Patrick Hudak has been a part of the Ohio water polo community for close to a decade. He is a two time state champion with St. Xavier, high school player of the year, and an all-American in his early career. Hudak went on to play for Iona College in the 2017-2020 seasons, where he was the team's leading scorer three of his four years. In his sophomore season, he earned Honorable Mention All-American Honors before finishing a tumultuous career brought on by injuries and the COVID-19 pandemic.

Throughout his college career, Hudak served as an assistant coach for Moose Water Polo Club based in Cincinnati, Ohio. In his time there, he was able to extend his knowledge of the sport of water polo to over a hundred athletes in 4 short years. In 2019 he served as the head coach of the Boys' B-team for Moose at Junior Olympics and the assistant for the A-team. With the B-team he coached his group through tough matchup's against some of the best teams in country and lead them through victories against equal opponents. In that same tournament, Hudak helped coach Moose to the highest finish of any team In Ohio's history at JO's.
