Wittenberg Falls Against Wooster in Conference Match-Up

Wooster, OH- Wittenberg headed to Wooster, OH for their third conference game of the season. The Tigers who were 0-2 in NCAC play prior to the game were unable to improve their record after a 15-2 loss against the Fighting Scots. The Tigers were able to get on the board twice in the third quarter with goals from Katie Wadds off of an assist from Mya Wolfe, and Grace Kennedy on a free position shot.

Wittenberg Leaders- Wittenberg was led by Katie Wadds and Grace Kennedy on offense with one goal each. Wadds also led the Tigers in ground balls, picking up five on the day and causing two turnovers from the Fighting Scots. Leading in goal was Sidney Sheridan with six saves after facing ten shots on goal.

NCAC Leaders- Wittenberg has seven individuals leading in the conference. Jessica Flick sits at number five for goals on the season with 34 and tied at number eight for points with 39. Flick also stands at number one in the NCAC for free position success, going 14-30. Zoe Chirumbolo and Antavia Horne lead in draw controls with Chirumbolo at number two and Horne at number six. A trio of Katie Wadds, Antavia Horne, and Grace Kennedy lead in ground balls with a combined 122 on the season, Wadds leads the pack with 48. Horne, Wadds, and Chirumbolo sit in the top ten for caused turnovers with Wadds leading again with 26 on the season. For goalie, both Sidney Sheridan and Gabrielle Weckerly sit in the top five at number three and four for save percentage in the conference.
