Gambier, OH- Wittenberg headed to Kenyon College for their conference opener. While the Tigers were opening their conference play, the Ladies of Kenyon came in with two wins already under their belt. Wittenberg was unable to pick up their first conference win, falling 22-5.
Wittenberg goals were scored by Grace Kennedy with two along with Mya Wolfe, Katie Wadds, and Grace Hehman all with one goal each. Two of the Tigers goals were off of assists from Jessica Flick and Antavia Horne. Splitting time in goal for the Tigers were Sidney Sheridan and Gabrielle Weckerly. The trio faced 29 shots and tallied a total of seven saves.
Wittenberg Leaders- The Tigers were led by Kennedy with two goals on the day. Katie Wadds led the Red & White defensively with four ground balls on the day and three caused turnovers. Leading in goal was Sidney Sheridan with five saves.
Up Next- Wittenberg will be back in action on April 2nd against Kenyon on the road.
