Tigers Bounce Back with Win Over Quakers

Richmond, IN- Wittenberg travelled to Richmond, IN to take on the Quakers of Earlham. Wittenberg has seen Earlham 40 times in program history, but the two schools haven't met since 2003. The Red & White have held a 14-game win streak against the Quakers and were able to add one more after a 13-4 victory.

Jessica Flick who has been able to average over three goals per game added four more to her season total. With 34 goals in the first half of Wittenberg's season and Flick's second season, she is on her way to becoming a season record holder in goals scored. Also getting on the board for the Tigers were Mya Wolfe, Hannah Feder and Grace Hehman with two each. Katie Wadds, Grace Kennedy, and Antavia Horne got in on the action with one goal of their own to give the Tigers 13 goals on the opponent. Feder and Flick also tabbed a total of three assists on the day.

Splitting time in goal for the Tigers were Sidney Sheridan, Gabrielle Weckerly, and Joanna Stecz. The trio faced 19 shots and tallied a total of ten saves.

Wittenberg Leaders- The Tigers were led by Jessica Flick with four goals on the night. Flick and Katie Wadds led the Red & White defensively with nine ground balls on the night and seven caused turnovers. Leading in goal were Gabrielle Weckerly and Sidney Sheridan with four saves each.

Up Next- Wittenberg will be back in action on April 2nd against Kenyon on the road.
