Selby & Wittenberg Women's Golf Take Second Place At Heidelberg Fall Invitational

Tiffin, OH – Izzy Selby led the Wittenberg Women's Golf team to a second-place finish and a T-2 finish as an individual at the Heidelberg Fall Invitational. In just her second collegiate competition and full 36-hole tournament. With the fist event of the fall being canceled due to weather and pace of play. Selby posted rounds of 75 and 81, coming in at 156 (+12). As a team, Wittenberg posted back-to-back rounds of 323 for a two-day score of 646 (+7). The Tigers edged out fellow NCAC foe and third-place finisher the College of Wooster, finishing with scores of 315-339 (+78). Wittenberg was also able to top NCAA Division II competition Tiffin.

Ellen Frame earned her second top 10 finish of the fall. Frame posted rounds of 76 and 83, finishing with a 36-hole score of 159 (+15).

The Wittenberg duo of Hillary Humbaugh (13th) and Halley McNair (14th) finished back-to-back. Humbaugh carded rounds of 84 and 80 for a 164 (+20). McNair posted a 36-hole score of 167 (+23), with rounds of 88 and 79.

Wittenberg will return to action October 2-3 at the Eva Shorb Weiskopf Invitational from the Wooster Country Club.
