Wittenberg Men's Soccer Welcomes Nine New Faces As Part Of Incoming Class

Springfield, OH -- The Wittenberg men's soccer team has announced their 2020 recruiting class, adding 9 new players to the Tiger family. The group features multiple National Honor Society inductees, including a high school GPA AVG of 3.50. 

Alex Brownfrom Warsaw Community High School (IN). Brown is an Academic All-State honoree and played for Elkhart County United. He comes to Wittenberg as a Pre-Veterinary/Biology major.  

Logan Dunlap, from Loveland High School (OH). Dunlap will have a familiar face on the Tiger team, having played with current Wittenberg midfielder Niki Christow. Dunlap was also a member of Alliance Cincinnati Elite. Dunlap sets his sights on majoring in Exercise Science/Athletic Training. 

Logan Evansfrom Worthington Kilbourne High School (OH). Evans is an OHSAA All-State selection and has played his club ball with Worthington United 94. Evans will look to study Early Childhood Education at Wittenberg. 

Bobby Goodman, from Beavercreek High School (OH), played his club soccer with CUSA NPL. Goodman will also find a familiar face on the Wittenberg soccer team, having played with current Tiger Alex BensonGoodman will look to focus on a Business major in his first year at Wittenberg. 

Nick Hardingfrom Carroll High School (IN). He was a member of Indiana Elite FC and Fort Wayne United FC while capturing a 2019 State Cup Championship. Harding will look to focus on a major in the Sciences.  

Max Keeffrom Tilton High School (NH). While at Wittenberg Keef will look to earn a degree in Sports Management and Business. Keef was a member of Bedford GPS NPL 2002, earning a 2019 State Cup title. 

Cole Lewisfrom Olentangy Orange High School (OH). Lewis was a team captain and played club soccer for Barca Academy. His mom (Julia) is a Wittenberg alumnus, and he will look to earn a degree in Secondary Education while at Wittenberg. 

Owen McGuffeyfrom Graham High School (OH). McGuffey was a CBC First Team honoree, while also playing for Ohio Hi Point SC. McGuffey's mom Amy is a Wittenberg alumnus, and he will look to major in Business while at Wittenberg. 

Max Patrickfrom Eastlake North High School (OH)Patrick earned 2019 Western Reserve Conference Player of the Year honors and was named to the All-State team, and played club soccer for Croatia Juniors. Sports Management/Business major.
