Springfield, OH- The Tigers faced off in a rainy matchup against Denison, under the lights, on Edwards-Maurer Field. Denison had a leg up with two more wins in the conference but the Tigers were determined to out run the Big Red. Earlier in the week, Head coach Dwight Burgess, said "This is the first time in four years that men's soccer has been on campus for Homecoming weekend, naturally we're very excited!"

Sean Williams was able to get free and score with an assist from Aaron Cradock at 29:52. However the Big Red were able to answer quickly, bringing the game to 1-1. Both teams continued to press the ball hard and move through the midfield quickly. Both teams were able to get shots off but went into the half with a score of 1-1. The second half remained uneventful until 3 minutes left when Aaron Craddock scored, avoiding overtime for the Tigers. Wittenberg would end the game with a score of 2-1.
