Tigers Unable To Make Comeback Against Wilmington

Springfield, OH – The Wittenberg men's soccer team hosted the Quakers of Wilmington College on Tuesday evening in a tightly contested battle from Edwards-Maurer Field. The Tigers were forced to fight back, after Wilmington posted back-to-back goals within a minute of one another in the first half, taking a 2-0 lead into the break. Aaron Craddock peppered the Wilmington keeper with five shots, placing three on frame.

Wittenberg tallied 14 shots on the night, ramping up the attack in the second half tallying 11 of their 14 total in the second 45-minutes of action. Cooper Robertson made four saves for the Red and White against six shots on goal.
