Tigers Protect Home Field

Springfield, OH- Wittenberg faced off against Bluffton Beavers in Edwards-Maurers Field under the lights and remain undefeated at home this season. Wittenberg was off to a hot start with Sean Williams scoring at 13:24, making that his fourth of the season. 

 The Tigers began to out shoot the Beavers but the score remained 1-0 into the half. Wittenberg's Aaron Craddock would get another one on the board at 52:53 to bring the score up to 2-0. 

 Bluffton's Dalton Taynor had a penalty kick and was able to get the Beavers on the board at 74:22. 

 The Tigers Jason Bowen was able to protect the goal with two saves. 

 A physical game led to four yellow cards for the Beavers and one for the Tigers. 

Up Next- The Tigers will be back in action Tuesday, September 17th on Edwards-Maurer Field. They will face off against Wilmington at 7:30 PM.
