Men's Lacrosse Senior Spotlight | Noah Moderwell

Closing out the 2019 season, Noah Moderwell was one of the Tigers top offensive players for the Wittenberg men's lacrosse team, scoring 40 goals for the second consecutive season on his way to earning All-NCAC honors for the second year in a row. A Libertyville, Illinois native, Moderwell looks to graduate with degrees in accounting and finance, along with a minor in economics. Upon graduation, Moderwell is looking to put his degree to use, searching for work in the accounting industry. During his time in the Red and White, his favorite team memory has been hanging out at with the team both on and off the field. Moderwell has been a big part of the attacking end last year playing in all 15 games.

Looking back during his time, one of Moderwell's fondest memories of Wittenberg lacrosse came at a pivotal learning point for a first-year player when he hit then Goalie, Aaron Blossey, during practice. At the time Moderwell had done a big no-no (never hit your own goalie during a practice), Aaron had left the cage and Moderwell says he just squared him up well. But I realized and learned quickly that that wasn't alright when the whole defense jumped my case right then and there. It really showed how close the team was and how competitive everyone was. While working hard all through college, he is proud to say his favorite academic memory is being able to graduate on time. Overall, Noah says, he is going to miss morning workouts and spending time with the team. Leaving a lasting impression on Wittenberg lacrosse, Moderwell's name appears throughout the record book, including T7 single-game goals with six. Moderwell also comes in at T6 for most points in a single-season with 55 in 2018.
