Tony Lebarge proved to be one of the Tiger's top defensive players in his four years while at Wittenberg University. The defender from Cincinnati, OH will look to graduate with a major in finance in May; Post-college, he is looking to get into defense contracting. With the many memories made along the way at Wittenberg and while playing lacrosse, Lebarge's favorite lacrosse memory is when he earned the opportunity to play for the United States. Lebarge was given the opportunity to get involved with the USA Lacrosse team by participating in a tournament represented by players from different areas of the country. Coming from Team Ohio, he was given the opportunity to play at the next level representing the United States against Canada. Wittenberg lacrosse taught him specifically the importance and what it means to provide for the United States' defense. Being able to join a field as competitive, fast-paced thinkers and workers require creative thinking is a direct reflection on how Wittenberg has impacted Lebarge. Lebarge has been a crucial part of the team's defensive unit, seeing action in all 15 games last year. He is especially dangerous when it comes to picking up groundballs, leading with 99 groundballs and 52 caused turnovers.

Lebarage's favorite team memory was his sophomore year while on Spring Break. The whole trip was a big memory for him. He got closer to the team, saw some cool places and played lacrosse. For Lebarge, the moments spent with teammates was one of the biggest parts of the whole experience. Guys would stay up together and watch TV together, play cards, talk about their families, how school was going, etc.. It was one of the best bonding experiences Lebarge had with the guys on his team. As they went to different sight-seeing locations, he says it was fun to be with a group of guys who could make anything fun. A specific memory that Lebarge recalled was The Royal Gorge Bridge in Colorado. As Lebarge and his team walked across the old wooden bridge, they jumped on it to scare Coach Shields, who was afraid of heights. His favorite lacrosse memory was during his freshman year when his assistant coach was so happy with how the team was playing he couldn't come up with words to express his excitement. While being at Wittenberg, he had a way of feeling accomplished due to finishing all his major classes ahead of schedule. Before playing a game, his ritual was to sit in the hallway in silence. Some guys like to listen to music, yell and scream, or just play wall ball. Tony prefers to sit out in full pads and just become calm before playing. Throughout his experience at Wittenberg, Tony is going to miss the gameday experience of suiting up and representing Wittenberg University.
