Wooster, OH – The Wittenberg Tiger men's basketball team returned to action for the first time in 12 days, for one of the biggest rivalry games in NCAA Division III men's basketball. The Tigers traveled to North Coast Athletic Conference foe, the College of Wooster for the 123rd meeting between the two teams, with the Scots edging out the 83-80 win on their home court. Wittenberg owned the first half, taking a 45-36 lead into the break and converting on 16 of 30 attempts from beyond the arc. Getting the offense going for the Tigers were two players familiar to the Wittenberg/Wooster rivalry. Ridge young posted 12 first-half points, knocking down 4-6 from the floor, including 2-3 from deep. Brice Young added 11 points to the Wittenberg tally, converting on 3-6 from beyond the arc. Wittenberg was able to shoot 53 percent from the floor as a team, while holding the Scots to just 40 percent in the first half.

Young continued to pour it in for the Tiger offense in the second half, adding 15 more points to his total.
