Mazzulli Lands Overtime Goal

Greencastle, IN- Wittenberg crossed state lines to take on NCAC opponent DePauw in a non-conference match-up. The Tigers who were coming off of a 9-0 win over Meredith looked for their second win of the season.

After claiming a draw in the fourth quarter with two goals from Katie Webber, Wittenberg was able to take DePauw into overtime. DePauw, who was just coming off of a double overtime loss would suffer a similar fate with the Red & Whites third goal coming from a penalty corner. Regan Mazzuli was able to strike the back of the cage with an assist from Meredith Johnson to claim the Tigers second win and improve to a 2-2 record on the season.

Leaders: The Tigers were led offensively by Webber with two goals, bringing her total on the year to five. Defensively, Caitlin Archdeacon led in goal with 10 saves on the night, bringing her total on the year to 27.

NCAC Leaders: Katie Webber sits in the top ten for goals in the NCAC at number three with five on the season. Also in the top ten for goals is Mazzulli at number six with four. Webber and Mazzulli also land in the top ten for points on the year at number four and six along with Meredith Johnson at eight.
