Greg Schneider joined Wittenberg's athletic training staff as an assistant trainer in 2011.

A native of Westerville, Ohio, Schneider earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Ohio University in 2008. He went on to work and study at Indiana State University, where he earned a Master of Science in Athletic Training in December 2010.

At Indiana State, Schneider served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer working with the Men & Women’s Cross Country and Track and Field teams.  He served as co-medical director for the NCAA Division I Cross Country National Championships and Planning Committee in November 2009.

In August of 2010, Schneider served as an Intern Athletic Trainer at The Ohio State University, primarily working with the Women’s Soccer and Women’s Lacrosse teams.

Schneider also worked at Woodward Camp in Woodward, Pa., during his summers from 2007-09, providing athletic training services to the 900 Action Sport, Gymnastic and Cheer campers ages 7 to 17 as well as visiting Olympians and professional athletes.

In addition, Schneider has taught classes at Ohio University, Indiana State University, The Ohio State University and currently serves as an adjunct faculty member in the HFS department at Wittenberg University.  Schneider presented at the National Athletic Trainers’ Association 2011 Annual Meeting and was published in 2011.

Schneider resides in Springfield with his wife, Cortney, and children, Xavier and Juniper.
