Webster and Khosla Lead Tigers to All-Ohio Title

The Wittenberg Tigers Cross Country program competed at the All-Ohio Intercollegiate Challenge hosted by Cedarville University. The meet was another opportunity for the teams to test themselves against Division I, II, and III schools in Ohio. The Women's team took the crown in the Division III race by 2 points and a 4th place overall finish. The men finished 6th in the Division III race out of 14 schools.  

The women were led by sophomore Ella Webster who once again broke a school record. This time for the 6k in a time of 21:48.09. Webster finished 4th overall. Right behind her was senior Sydney Khosla in 5th place in a time of 22:04.25.  The Webster and Khosla duo would be the first two DIII girls to finish the race. The third runner for the Tigers was junior Megan Keys. Keys finished 27th overall with a time of 22:58.36. Sophomore Emma Hawk cracked the top 40 in a time of 23:14.68 as the team's fourth runner. To wrap up the scoring five for the Tigers was junior Kiki Krohmer. Krohmer ran 23:50.43 to help the Tigers secure the first-place win.  

On the men's side once again junior Conor Kolka led the charge for the Tigers. Kolka finished 12th in a time of 25:16.45 and was the 2nd DIII runner. Next was sophomore Evan Haemmerle in 26:25.30. Third for the Tigers was sophomore Lucas Eisele with a time of 26:37.03. Senior Peter Caine came in 4th for Tigers in a time of 26:53.45. Last for the scoring five was freshmen Lukas Rieben 26:57.45.  

Both teams put on great performances as they look to continue the momentum at the Greater Louisville Classic that will take place on September 30th, in Louisville, KY.
