Women's Cross Country Closes Out 2017 Season From Great Lakes Regional

Powell, Ohio – The Wittenberg Cross Country team closed out their 2017 season at the Great Lakes Regional from Ohio Wesleyan University. Sophomore Alexis Gray was the top placing Tiger in the women's race, setting a 4:07.8K pace to cross the line in a time of 24:47.1 for a 106th place finish. Freshman Erika Bournival was the next Wittenberg runner to come across in a time of 25:28.8 for a Top 150 finish in her first regional competition. Senior MacKenzie Freeman rounded out her collegiate cross country career from the Great Lakes Regional competition, crossing the line in a final time of 26:30.2.
