For the second straight year, Wittenberg cross country standout Mary Pfeifer, class of 2012 from Dublin, Ohio, has been named to the NCAA Division III United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team.
The 2010 cross country season ended on a positive note for the Wittenberg Tigers as junior Mary Pfeifer (Dublin, Ohio/Coffman) placed 97th at the NCAA Division III Championship meet, hosted by Wartburg College.

POWELL, Ohio - The Wittenberg men's and women's cross country teams posted matching eighth-place finishes among strong competition on Saturday at the Ohio Wesleyan Invitational held at Liberty Park in Powell, Ohio. Freshman Jacob Kuntz (Versailles, Ky./Woodford) paced the men in 26th while freshman Shannon Kelleher (Hilliard, Ohio/Darby) led the women for the second straight race in 39th.
