Evelyn Miller, who served as the interim women’s volleyball coach at Wittenberg University during the 2018 season, was officially named the program’s next head coach on November 21, 2018.

Miller joined the coaching staff in 2016 as an assistant coach and spend two seasons in that postion before moving into the interim leadership position in 2018 after the departure of Paco Labrador, the program's leader in coaching victories who accepted the same position at the Naval Academy. In her interim season at the helm, Miller guided the Tigers to an overall record of 25-3 and the program's 13th straight North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) regular season title with a perfect 8-0 mark. After winning the NCAC Tournament for the 12th year in a row, the Tigers advanced to the NCAA Division III Tournament for the 24th time in program history before suffering a heart-breaking 3-2 defeat against top-ranked Calvin in the regional championship match on Calvin’s home floor.

In her two seasons as an assistant coach at Wittenberg, the Tigers won back-to-back NCAC regular season and tournament titles and advanced to the NCAA Division III Tournament both years as well, highlighted by a run to the 2017 national title match. Prior to Wittenberg, Miller spent a year as an assistant coach at Alma College in Michigan in 2015. In addition to her season at Alma, Miller's coaching experience includes work as a Junior Olympic assistant coach in 2010-11 and Junior Olympic head coach in 2011-12 again from 2012-15.

A native of nearby Tipp City, Ohio, Miller was a four-year letter winner as a libero at Otterbein University, where she ranks in the program's top-10 for digs in a career, season, and match. Playing for former Wittenberg All-American and current Otterbein Head Coach, Monica McDonald, Miller was a key player for the Cardinals as they captured the 2012 Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Tournament championship. Otterbein advanced to the NCAA Division III Tournament three times during her collegiate career.

Miller earned her bachelor of science in athletic training from Otterbein in 2015. She received the Health and Sport Science Departmental Scholarship in 2014-15 and earned Dean's List honors multiple times.
