Springfield, OH – The Wittenberg Tiger women's volleyball team celebrated their two All-American seniors, Mack Ricketts and Tyler Linkhart, before defeating Hiram (25-13, 25-17, 25-21) on Saturday afternoon. The Tiger attack would double that of the Terriers with Wittenberg putting down 48 kills on the afternoon to Hiram's 22.

Linkhart lead the Tiger attack, putting down 13 kills on 36 attacks, logging a .222 attacking clip with five errors. Ricketts tallied 40 of the Tiger's 44 assists, adding three kills on five attacks without an error for a .600 attacking percentage.

Wittenberg controlled the match from start to finish, as the first two sets did not see a lead change on the scoreboard. Hiram would keep it close in the third set, putting together their best sideout offense of the match, still trailing Wittenberg .208 to .156, and exchanging the lead with the Tigers twice.

Alana Bartulovic posted a team-high 12 kills with 21 attacks and just three errors, leading all Tigers with a .429 attacking percentage.

Before the match got underway, the program took time to acknowledge the career of Linkhart and Ricketts. Both Linkhart and Ricketts have been four-year starters and staples within the Wittenberg Volleyball program throughout their career.

Linkhart recently broke into 500 career digs and is just 32 kills shy of the 1000 career kill club. She is a first team AVCA – All American and has garnered multiple All Conference and Player of the Week recognitions in her time as a Tiger.

Ricketts has amassed 665 career digs, this season she broke 2500 career assists and currently sits at 2628.  She is a third team AVCA All American honoree and has earned multiple All Conference and Player of the Week awards.
